Indonesia car sales 2009

Indonesia cars sales continued to show a significant increase. After a decline in September sales due to the Lebaran Day holiday, the car sales in October rose again. On the basis of wholesale data (car sales by distributors to dealers), sales of cars reached 52,230 units this month, an increase of 40% of sales in September books only 37,206 units.

A total of wholesale January to October 2009 reached 389,700 units, while total industry volume in 2009 is predicted to 430 thousand units, or below 30% of total sales in 2008 reached 607 thousand units to achieve. But if we look at the positive trend shown by the national car sales expected until the end of the year, the sales increase over the initial goal can be reached 460 thousand units.

The wholesale data we have shows that Japanese cars are still a favorite car and keep control of the Indonesia cars sales. Indonesia car sales Sep 09

On the basis of wholesale Indonesia car sales data, Toyota continues to lead the national automobile market with sales of 129,486 units or 38.4% of the market. In the 2nd position Daihatsu, with sales of 53,250 units (15.8%). While Mitsubishi, which dominates the commercial market with the car is in the third row with total sales of 41,928 units (12.4%), followed by Suzuki in Category 4 with 9.4% market share and 31,560 venda units, and Honda in Category 5, with 27,581 units, or 8.2% of the market.
